# Adding and Removing profile information via a Policy

Within Patronum it is possible to remove profile information as well as simply add it to the users via a policy.

By toggling the **User Details** section you can either add or remove specific attribute data.

The default action is to add information to the users profile, however when the toggle is configured to **Remove** profile information can be remove.

You can remove exact attribute information if you need to remove address information from all accounts. 
Or using the * wild card you can remove all information that matches the wild card.
