# Contacts "not synced yet"

After configuring Directory Contacts, Patronum will perform a sync by reading your Google Directory and creating Contacts within the specified users Google Contacts.

However if after 24 hours you are seeing the message **not synced yet** it is likely that Patronum is unable to read your Google Directory due to a configuration within the Google Admin Console.

To address this you need to change **Sharing settings** of the Google Directory.

To do this you need to:-

1. Access the [Google Admin Console](https://admin.google.com/ac/appsettings/986128716205/sharing).

2. Within the Directory > Directory Settings.  Select **Sharing settings**.

3. Select **External Directory sharing**

4. Select **Organisation data and authenticated user basic profile fields** 

This will allow Patronum to read the necessary information from your Google Directory to correctly function.
