# Creating Email Templates

With Patronum you can send emails to new users, managers, as well as other groups and individuals as part of an on or offboarding policy.

Creating an **email template** is very simply to [creating an email signature template](/en/article/what-attributes-can-i-use-within-my-email-signature-template-jdr4na/) as it uses the same values and conditions.

# Creating an email template

1. Select the [Settings](https://app.patronum.io/setting) menu item.

2. Select the **ADD EMAIL TEMPLATE** button

3. Create your email template.

4. From within a [Policy](/en/article/creating-a-policy-jmctey/) expand the ACTIONS select.

5. Select Notify, who you want the email to be sent to and the email template you wish to use.
