# Directory Contacts not synchronizing.

For Patronum to synchronize your Google Directory contacts to users Google Contacts you need to make sure that your External Directory sharing are not disabled. This setting will prevent the Directory Sync from working correctly. The Google API requires the External Directory Sharing to be set to Domain and public data.

From the Google Admin Console access [Directory settings](https://admin.google.com/ac/managedsettings/986128716205) from the console menu.

Expand the **Sharing settings** section.

Within the **Sharing setting** section expand the **External Directory sharing** section, and make sure **Domain and public data** is selected.
