# How to Synchronize Google Contacts to your iPhone or iPad

Being able to manage different kinds of contacts on your Mac, iPhone or computers is essential in many organisations. With Patronum, and a little help from Google, you can sync your Google Contacts over to your iPhone and iOS devices.

First you need to share your Google Contacts with other users, you can decide to either [share contacts via a Google label/group](https://help.patronum.io/en/article/sharing-google-contacts-via-a-policy-1ccwlw0/) or [share your Google Directory with others](https://help.patronum.io/en/article/configuring-directory-contacts-via-a-policy-19z0eq9/).

### Natively sync Google Contacts with your iPhone.

To synchronize your Google contacts with your native iOS Contact book perform the follows:
On iOS within the **Settings** App go to **Contacts -> Groups -> Global Address List** and search for contacts within the Google Directory.

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.
2. Select **Contacts**.
3. Select **Add account** and then Google.
4. Follow the instructions to sign in to your Google Workspace Account.
5. Choose which Google apps to sync with your device. Make sure you include the Contacts. You can change these settings at any time.
6. Tap **Account** and then **Advanced**.
7. Switch **Use SSL** on.
8. Select **Account** and then **Done**.

To start syncing, open your iPhone or iPad's Contacts app.

|| Patronum does not provide the sync service for mobile devices, this is performed by Google.
