Why does delegation fail after I reset a user password?
Google Workspace blocks delegation when the "Change password at next sign-in" flag is enabled. This security feature prevents any account access—including Patronum's delegation management—until the user completes their password change.
How to fix it
Choose one of these options:
Option 1: Uncheck the flag during password reset
- In Google Admin Console, go to the user's account
- Click Reset password
- Uncheck Ask for a password change at the next sign-in
- Save the new password
Option 2: Have the user complete the password change
- User signs in to their Google account
- User completes the forced password change
- Delegation access resumes automatically
