Why is the organization chart not displaying all my users?

The organization chart displays users based on the Manager attribute in Google Directory. If users are missing, the most common causes are sync delays or incomplete manager assignments.

Wait for automatic sync

Patronum syncs with Google Directory every hour. After updating manager assignments in Google Admin Console, wait an hour for changes to appear in the organization chart.

Patronum does not have a manual force sync option. The system automatically updates every hour.


Verify manager assignments

Users without a Manager attribute won't appear in the organization chart. To check:

  1. Go to Dashboard > Alerts in Patronum
  2. Look for alerts about users without managers
  3. Click on any alert to edit the user and assign a manager

Alternatively, verify manager email addresses directly in Google Admin Console under Users > User Details > Manager.


Use Card View as a workaround

If you need to browse users immediately, switch to Card View. Card View displays all users regardless of manager assignments and doesn't require the organizational hierarchy.

When to contact support

If users still don't appear after 2 hours and all manager assignments are verified, contact Patronum support with:

  • Affected user email addresses
  • Screenshot of the manager assignment in Google Admin Console
  • When you made the changes in Google Directory
