How to Synchronize Google Contacts to your iPhone or iPad

Being able to manage different kinds of contacts on your Mac, iPhone or computers is essential in many organisations. With Patronum, and a little help from Google, you can sync your Google Contacts over to your iPhone and iOS devices.

First you need to share your Google Contacts with other users, you can decide to either share contacts via a Google label/group or share your Google Directory with others.

Natively sync Google Contacts with your iPhone.

To synchronize your Google contacts with your native iOS Contact book perform the follows:
On iOS within the Settings App go to Contacts -> Groups -> Global Address List and search for contacts within the Google Directory.

If you do not have a Gmail account added you need to Add Account

On your iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.

Select Add account and then Google.
Follow the instructions to sign in to your Google Workspace Account.
Choose which Google apps to sync with your device. Make sure you include the Contacts. You can change these settings at any time.

To start syncing, open your iPhone or iPad's Contacts app.
