Sharing Google Contacts (administrator)
Patronum allows users to share their Google Contacts with other within the same domain. As an administrator you can also configure contact sharing for your users. Navigate to the Contacts section. Select the (+) icon. From here you can select the user you want to share the contacts from, and select the specific label. Patronum provides you the ability to search all your users individual Google Contacts. This is useful when information stored by users is out of date, incorrect or part of a GDPR request. External Contacts (DOMAIN CONTACTS) The Google Workspace Directory contains two types of contacts, those from your Google Workspace accounts, and those of external contacts or DOMAIN CONTACTS as we call them in Patronum. Domain Contacts are created by the Google Shared Contacts API and are visible to all users of a Google Workspace domain and all Google services have access to the contact list. After configuring Directory Contacts, Patronum will perform a sync by reading your Google Directory and creating Contacts within the specified users Google Contacts. However if after 24 hours you are seeing the message not synced yet it is likely that Patronum is unable to read your Google Directory due to a configuration within the Google Admin Console.
