Switching to Patronum from other email signature apps
If you are currently using a different email signature app (e.g. BetterCloud, SignatureSatori etc.) that is managing your email signatures but are looking to change, don't worry, with Patronum you can seamlessly and gracefully make the switch.
How can I transfer my users data?
If your previous solution stored the user specific data within the Google Directory you don't need to worry about anything. Patronum also uses the Google Directory there is nothing further you need to do, Patronum will read the Google Directory, including custom schema extensions you may have created.
If your previous solution stored the data elsewhere, make sure you export it before leaving. You should be able to simply import this data into the Google Directory.
Can I use my current email signature template?
Yes, you can copy and paste your existing email signature template, however there will be some minor modifications required in order for it to work 100%. This is because different platforms use different placeholders for the user data so you will need to change them. For example {firstName} will become {{ fname }}, {lastName} will become {{ lname }} and so on.
